Welcome to Coral Companion. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Coral Companion mobile app ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Coral Companion is an unofficial, fan-made companion app for the game Coral Island. It is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Coral Island or Stairway Games, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. The App is provided as an independent tool to help players track items, gifts, museum donations, altar offerings, townsfolk relationships, and similar in-game progress.
You can use the App as a guest, or sign in with Apple or Google to back up and sync your progress across your devices. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. We rely on Apple and Google for sign-in and do not store your passwords. You may delete your account at any time from within the App, which permanently removes your associated data.
The App is free to download and use. All Coral Island game data and reference content in the App is free for everyone, and is never placed behind a purchase.
You may optionally leave a tip to support development. Tips are one-time in-app purchases offered in a few different amounts. A tip is a voluntary contribution and nothing more: it does not unlock any feature, content, or entitlement, and no part of the App is withheld from you if you choose not to tip.
A future version of the App may offer Coral Plus, an optional one-time purchase unlocking additional convenience features built by us, such as a gift planner, a catchable-right-now view, and multiple farm profiles. Coral Plus is not available in the current version. If it is offered, it will not unlock or gate any Coral Island game data or artwork, which remains free for all users.
You agree to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, scrape, or extract its data or content for redistribution, or by interfering with its normal operation.
The App's own software, design, and original content are owned by the developer. Coral Island and all related names, characters, logos, artwork, and other game content are the property of their respective owners, including Stairway Games. Game information shown in the App is presented for informational and companion purposes only. If a rights holder requests it, we will adjust or remove any content accordingly.
Game data in the App is compiled from the game's own files and from community sources, and is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the information is accurate, complete, or current, and game updates may change it. You use the App and rely on its information at your own discretion. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.
The App is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
The App uses third-party services to operate, including the Apple App Store and Google Play, cloud storage and sync (Supabase), in-app purchase validation (RevenueCat), and product analytics (PostHog). Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on what data is collected and how it is used.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from within it. We may suspend or end access to the App if these Terms are violated.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
